A Set of (mostly) Vivi Commissions (July-December 2025)

SUP! Again, I keep drifting away from this blog, but decided to make up for it by doing something: A whole set of Vivis drawn by different artists. I only have one more commission waiting, so I upload this a bit early. I'll update when I got said commission.

Piece by Brandon Santiago

Santiago I bet you probably heard from 2 different sources: Webcomics about a cute ghost girl who was the offspring from that girl from The Ring and a Chad author... or certain Rosalina x Pauline yuri art from his alt account or somewhere in the recesses of Rule34. Chances are, Brando here is a new member of the list of "Artists who took forever to commission," but ranked last because this took him 5 months. This didn't help when he's also running a crowdfunding campaign for one of his Erma novels and Nintendoposting, but eventually I got the end result. She's adorable.

One funny thing is that I sent him an updated ref sheet on her shoes which supposed to resemble knockoff Converse shoes, but I'm surprised that he looked deep down the Vivi rabbit hole and found the old shoes I modelled for the 3D one.

Piece by Tovio Rogers

I've been following Tovio's works since 2023, I think. I liked his cute Star Trek girl piece, and then I followed him with more works. I commissioned him to draw Vivi, but thing is I never properly finished that old ref sheet, meaning that the one article that's missing was her shoes. I told him to draw her some Chucks, and there you go. This was my phone's lock screen until Brando's piece came in.

A Re-Sketch to match her current artstyle

Pink shades

Final piece.

This user we're apparently mutuals. Funny, but don't know why. I remembered drawing her deer in early 2024 as a practice piece, and there we go. I gave her a pose reference, which is taken from a book I have called "POSE!" She did informed me that the piece will be on hold due to college, and that's understandable. She redrew the initial sketch after college midterms are done, and the end result is this. I liked the mixed soft shading & halftones, along with Vivi's moody look. Only thing that's missing from this was the Spade graphic on her shirt.

This one, I had some mixed feelings, but then again: This was the cheapest commission ($25 USDeez Nuts). First off: The positives. I liked her expression and the added eyeliner. The negatives: Well, comparing this from not only the ref sheet but the previous Vivis in the V8 state: This is the least accurate to the ref material. The damning one to me is the ears, they're round & not flat-tipped. Second is the hair, which goes off this 1950s curly vibe, despite her actual hair is more of a weird bob cut. Lastly, this piece made her flat-chested. That shouldn't light me off, but this design makes her resemble an elementary school rich girl in her gym outfit, and not a mid-20s Cafe girl with a bike.

Okay, why haven't I really thought about Vivi's backstory, the hell's wrong with me?! I mean, she has a sword that cut open dimensions, a motorcycle that's not even drawn yet (for the old one, check this link), and she even has a voice.

This one I liked the rendering. She made her fuzzy which is cute, and sporting her autumn outfit for the occasion. No complaints here.

Another by Soll

Sketch piece

Soll is someone I commissioned before (which is 2 years ago). I did notice her artstyle evolved from that time, and now I gave her the opportunity to draw her wearing the Nine Inch Nails drip. Her design looked different from the others because I gave her the updated 8.2 ref sheet. I spent too much time on the clothes when making that. Coincidentally, I got this commission on the same day I got Brando's.

Fem Law (By Jellot)

The only non-Vivi commission from the mighty Jellot... This time I made 'em draw a guy... Or a guy with tits. This was a one-off gag in One Piece where Law & his crew were randomly genderbent by one of the Blackbeard pirates, and I commissioned him for giggles and he went through with it.

NOW, I needed someone to draw my daddy Shanks.

Anyways, that's all for the 2025 commissions. 2026, I may have to slow it down because I want to actually focus on MY ART for a change.
